CBC & The Mulroney/Schreiber Affair

It seems that a number of Tory bloggers/pundits are incensed that someone with CBC credentials fed questions to members of the parliamentary ethics committee to ask Brian Mulroney.

I fail to see how this is more evidence of a Liberal bias at the CBC. All it really shows is that Pablo Rodriguez is even dumber than I thought. Rodriguez is the Liberal MP who supposedly took the questions in the first place. Couldn't come up with your own questions, Pablo?

Former Liberal transport Minister and Bloc co-founder, Jean Lapierre made the allegations. I guess he's still trying to embarrass the party. Here's some advice, Jean. It's time to collect your tax-payer supported pension, and move on. You're only embarrassing yourself and the person who gave you a Cabinet portfolio.
Lining up on a Saturday morning...

The LCBO had a major release a couple of weeks ago, with lots of powerhouse wines hitting the shelves. I lined up for 30 minutes on a cold Saturday morning just to get some '04 Ornellaia, '03 Alion and '05 Grand Veneur Les Origines CNDP. Too bad for me as all of the wines are still available for purchase in and around the GTA.

I was lucky enough to get a case of the '05 Donjon CNDP. The wine, which came in 3rd on Wine Spectator's top 100 wines of 2007, was probably the most sought after of the release. Apparently, some stores were only allocating one bottle per person.

I need to learn to ignore the hype of Vintages' releases. I'll probably end up saving a lot more money!
